AFFORDABLE - RESIDENTIAL

16 NAREE RD FRENCHS FOREST

This 12-bed boarding house in Frenchs Forest sits comfortably on its sloped site. With two storeys facing the street; the units along this south façade sit behind a retractable timber screen providing privacy and insulating residents from the street frontage. Transforming to three storeys toward the rear; the building is concealed in a darker brick amongst an array of trees. Attic-style units on the topmost floor are afforded expansive views across the tree canopies.

60 BINALONG AVE ALLAMBIE HEIGHTS

This 32-bed project in the heart of Allambie Heights was designed to meet the requirements Affordable Housing under the SEPP. The proposal facilitates the effective delivery of new affordable rental housing to the community.

Northern Beaches Council praised the proposal saying “The architectural style of the development is a positive element of the design and is considered to be suitable for the area. The proposed colours and materials fit with and reflect the materials and building forms of the dwellings in the street.”

20 westminister ave Dee why

This development proposes a 22 bed boarding house with additional managers room set within a multi-residential area of Dee Why. The building form is harmonious with its surroundings, referencing the materials and shape of neighbouring buildings. The topographic condition of the site allowed the presentation of 3 storeys to the street and 4 to the rear; whilst also facilitating a rooftop common room and a communal outdoor area.
